Day 1 (Solderless breadboards)

The day started with a question about what the total charge that flows through a an element from one certain time to another. Here are the calculations and the answer our group arrived to was .481 Columns.

The following problem was to sketch the relative graph of power and energy relative to a given current graph. Here are the results.

Next a lab was performed in class. The solderlesss breadboards lab was designed so that students could understand experimentally how a solderless breadboard operated. The equipment used was an multimeter, a breadboard, and wires. 



We were searching for the amount of resistance in a set of holes and these are pictures of the procedure and the results of those connections. 





The resistance between two holes in the same row was 1.6 ohms and it was a closed circuit. For two holes on the opposite side of a channel is was an open circuit and overloaded the multimeter. Two arbitrary holes were an open circuit unless connected by a wire, then it was a closed circuit and had a resistance of 2.7 ohms.
