Day 14 (Capacitor Voltage-Current Relations)

The day started by looking at a new component to our circuits, capacitors. We went and calculated what would be the energy that is within a capacitor.

We then looked at what a voltage and current versus time graph would look like on a capacitor.

We then did the lab Capacitor Voltage-Current Relations. The pre-lab was to determine what the transformation would be on a capacitor if given a function for voltage and current. Here is the pre-lab.

Here is a picture of the circuits and the results on the oscilliscope and the data.

After the lab we continued to explore capacitors and reviewed on how to find the equivalent capacitance of a circuit of multiple capacitors.
